We’ve just heard the story of the killing of Jesus. Let’s sit with it for a few minutes. We might like to ask ourselves where we might be at in this story.


Am I Simon from Cyrene, helping to carry the cross?


Am I Peter, or another scared disciple, denying Jesus or running away?


Am I Joseph of Arimathea, trying to tidy things up?


Am I Mary, watching in grief?


Let’s sit in silence now and reflect. During this Holy Week you may wish to get out your bibles, and read this account of Jesus’s killing again, and reflect on where you fit into the story.
